An end-to-end environmental platform where citizens upload photos of waste-affected areas and a custom-trained YOLOv8m model detects and classifies the waste automatically. Detections are geolocated and plotted on a live interactive map, nearby reports are clustered into pollution hotspots with PostGIS, and high-severity zones trigger cleanup requests with real-time notifications. The system closes the loop with community feedback that feeds model retraining, a reporter trust-tier system that auto-approves proven contributors, and an environmental impact tracker measuring kilograms of waste removed.
